'Ramos more disappointing than Messi'

Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has come in for some heavy criticism after he was sent off in his third game for the club.

Ramos has only made three appearances for the Ligue 1 leaders, but his third appearance against Lorient was cut short after being sent off in the 86th minute despite only coming on at the start of the second half.

While Lionel Messi has has recieved some criticism for his start, former France and Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit feels Ramos' time in the French capital has been more disappointing.

"Must wait. I think the best is yet to come for Lionel Messi," he told RMC Sport.

"We'll talk about that in six months. I am more disappointed and frustrated with Sergio Ramos than Lionel Messi.

"Yes, its integration difficulty can also be linked to the tactical aspect. His remoteness on the ground, having been, at one point, isolated on the right side.

"But, on the other hand, there are a lot of players at PSG who are far from their level. So, it is necessarily linked."
