Liverpool are reportedly facing competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the services of Bayern Munich star Thiago Alcantara.
The Bundesliga champions have already confirmed the Spain international wants to leave at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to Premier League champions Liverpool, who are aiming to bolster their squad for the new campaign.
French outlet Le10 Sport have reported that the French champions are preparing a £27million for Thiago, who has helped Bayern win the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal this season.
While the report says £27million, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed negotiations will only start when a club meets their asking price.

"We have a contract with Thiago that is still valid for one year and if he reaches an agreement with any club then that club should pay a transfer fee of a certain amount," he said, as per Mirror.
"No club has contacted us to date and wants to have concrete discussions with us.
"We will only starting negotiating for their (Thiago and Alaba's) sale from a certain amount. There will be no summer sales at FC Bayern.''
