Neymar 'offered' to two big clubs

Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has now reportedly been offered to two major European clubs.

The Brazilian's future in Paris came under the spotlight in the latter stages of the 2021/22 season due to the whistles and boos he began receiving from PSG supporters.

Here are four transfer targets PSG are pursuing, according to Foot Mercato!

That wave of criticism came after the Ligue 1 side was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in embarrassing fashion by Real Madrid in March.

After attack partner Kylian Mbappe signed a new deal with Les Parisiens in May, it was claimed the Frenchman was promised that Neymar would be moved on in this transfer window, while PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi also refused to rule out an exit for the winger in a recent interview with Marca.

While there is doubt as to whether or not that "promise" was actually made, the Selecao talisman has now been offered to both Juventus and his former club FC Barcelona, according to various sources.

Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri is believed to be strongly considering signing the forward as he looks to reclaim the Serie A title from AC Milan next season, per Sport.

According to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, meanwhile, Barca could also make a move to bring the 30-year-old back to the Camp Nou if their pursuit of Robert Lewandowski is unsuccessful.

There appears to be a feeling in Neymar's camp that his preferred destination would be a return to the LaLiga giants.

However, this deal would not be an easy one to negotiate as Neymar is one of the highest-paid players in football with a reported monthly salary of €4.1 million (R69 million), while PSG are said to value the star at €88 million (R1.4 billion), and Barca's poor financial situation is well-documented.
