Paris Saint-Germain 5-0 Montpellier

Paris Saint-Germain extended their lead at the top of the table to 13 points after thumping nine-man Montpellier 5-0 at Parc des Princes.

Meanwhile, Montpellier, who were without Keagan Dolly, were undone by the early red card of goalkeeper Dimitry Bertaud in the first stanza and a late sending off of Jordis Chotard.

Angers 1-4 Reims

Reims came from a goal down to wallop Angers 4-1 at Stade Raymond-Kopa on Saturday evening.

Rachid Alioui gave Angers an early lead but the visitors came back as El Bilal Toure equalised seven minutes before the break.

Yunis Abdelhamid, an own goal by Baptiste Santamaria and Boulaye Dia found the back of the net in the second stanza to seal the three points.

Dijon 3-0 Brest

Dijon steered five points clear of the drop zone after thrashing Brest 3-0 at Stade Gaston-Gerard.

A quick brace by Mama Balde inside the first 20 minutes gave the hosts a two-goal cushion going to the break before Stephy Mavididi sealed the three points late in the second half.

Nimes 3-1 AS Monaco

Nimes boosted their chances of surviving relegation after coming from behind to beat nine-man Monaco 3-1 at Stade des Costieres.

Wissam Ben Yedder gave Monaco an early lead in the 13th minute and Florian Miguel restored parity for Nimes in the 27th minute.

There was drama in the 32nd minute after the visitors were reduced to nine men in the same moment after Tiemoue Bakayoko's yellow card was upgraded to red by the Video Assistant Referee and Gelson Martins was shown a straight red-card.

It was an uphill battle for Monaco after that, as Romain Philippoteaux and Pablo Martinez got second-half goals for Nimes to seal victory.

Strasbourg 1-2 Lille

Lille went up to fourth on the table after coming from behind to beat Strasbourg 2-1 at Stade de la Meinau.

Adrien Thomasson gave Strasbourg an early lead in the 12th minute but the visitors found the equaliser in the 65th minute through Gabriel before Victor Osimhen snatched the winner in the last ten minutes from the penalty spot.
