Nantes 2-1 Toulouse

Nantes moved up to sixth spot after defeating ten-man Toulouse 2-1 at Stade de la Beaujoire.

Toulouse had a terrible start after they were reduced to ten men in just the 23rd minute after Kouadio Kone got his second booking and he was dismissed.

The hosts had the upper hand as Toure broke the deadlock two minutes before the break, while Blas made it 2-0 eight minutes inside the second stanza. Aaron Leya Iseka pulled a goal back for the visitors deep in stoppage time but it was too little too late.

Nantes moved up to sixth on the log with 23 points from 15 matches, while Toulouse slipped down to the bottom of the table with 12 points.

Nantes will travel to Paris Saint-Germain in their next league outing on Wednesday night, while Toulouse will host Monaco on on the same night.

Rennes 2-1 Saint-Etienne

Damien Da Silva scored the winner in stoppage time for Rennes in their come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Saint-Etienne at Roazhon Park.

Lois Diony opened the scoring for the visitors in the 19th minute but Raphinha pulled Rennes level six minutes thereafter and Da Silva snatched the winner in the third minute of stoppage time.

Rennes climbed up to tenth on the table with 21 points from 14 matches, while Saint-Etienne were left lying a place above them with 22 points from15 matches.

St. Etienne will host Nice in their upcoming league clash on Wednesday evening, while Rennes will travel to Metz on the same evening.

Monaco v Paris Saint-Germain (called off)

Monaco's clash with Paris Saint-Germain was postponed due to bad weather.

PSG are five points clear at the top of the table with 33 points from 14 matches, while Monaco are placed 14th with 18 points from 14 matches.
