LOSC Lille 3-0 Bordeaux

LOSC Lille returned to winning ways in Ligue 1 with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Bordeaux at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday.

Benjamin Andre handed the hosts the lead at the midway stage before Yusuf Yazici fired home from the spot 62 minutes in the second half.

Loic Remy finished off the contest with the third at the death, taking Lille to third place five points off leaders Paris Saint Germain.

RC Strasbourg 1-0 OGC Nice

RC Strasbourg revived their campaign through a narrow 1-0 victory over ten-man OGC Nice at the Stade de la Meinau.

Adrien Thomasson netted the winner with 23 minutes gone following a pass from South Africa’s Mothiba.

Nice finished with man short 56 minutes in the second half after Racine Coly saw red following a second bookable offence

Montpellier 0-0 Angers

Montpellier and Angers played to disappointing goalless draw at the La Mosson Stadium in Montpellier.

Montpellier’s winless run of form as a result stretches to four matches while the wheels appear to be falling off for Angers who drop to sixth place.

Brest 2-0 Dijon FCO

Newly-promoted Brest continued their upward momentum after seeing off bottom-placed Dijon FCO 2-0 at the Stade Francis-Le Ble.

The first half ended goalless, but the hosts went ahead five minutes from halftime through Paul Lasne with Denys Bain adding the second three minutes later.

Bain’s evening turned for the worst in the final 20 minutes as he was sent to the showers following a poor challenge.

Olympique Lyon 2-0 Metz

Olympique Lyon collected their third win of the campaign following a 2-0 success against Metz at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

Memphis Depay put the home side ahead in the 28th minute with Moussa Dembele doubling their advantage from the spot five minutes later, as Lyon jump to 12th place.

Stade Reims 0-0 Nimes

Stade Reims failed to claim back-to-back victories after being held to a goalless draw at home to Nimes.

Reims maintained their spot amongst the top three despite dropping two crucial points, as Nimes sit level on points with second-bottom Metz.
