Mbappe urged to join Bayern Munich

Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain and France star Kylian Mbappe has been urged to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Despite his tender age, 22-year-old Mbappe has already developed into one of football's global superstars, and has been linked to some of the biggest clubs in the world, including the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

The two-time Ligue 1 Golden Boot winner has been courted throughout his career and, ahead of the 2020 UEFA European Championship with France, revealed that national team squadmate Lucas Hernandez had urged him to join Bayern.

"Lucas told me that I should come to Munich to play for Bayern," Mbappe told Sport Bild h/t Abendzeitung. "In football, you never know what is going to happen. But I’m currently very happy the way things are."

While the former AS Monaco star was giving little away regarding his future, he did reveal his admiration for the Bavarian giants and the club's ability to achieve sustained success over the last few decades.

"Bayern are among the five best clubs in the world," he added. "One can only congratulate them on how they manage to maintain the quality in the squad every year. They just know what they’re doing."
