More that 100 000 pairs of coloured laces were manufactured and distributed to English Premier League players to be worn at games.

The Rainbow Laces campaign was launched prior to the League match between Arsenal and Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

Players such as QPR midfielder Joey Barton, Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta and Fabian Delph took part alongside a host of celebrities including Lewis Hamilton, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Owen and Robert Pires.
