Zinedine Zidane's son, Luca Zidane, has spoken about his loan exit from Real Madrid, suggesting that he needed to undertake a new challenge with a new team.
Earlier this week, Spanish giants Real confirmed that Luca had joined second-division outfit Racing Santander on a season-long loan deal.
After being unveiled by Los Racinguistas on Thursday, the 21-year-old, who made only two appearances for Real's senior team and conceded four goals in those matches, detailed the reasons behind his exit from the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners.
"It'll be good for me to get to know a new team and a new city," he said at his unveiling, as per Marca.
"I had many offers to pick from, but the most important and interesting one was always Racing Santander.
"I want to develop at a historic club like this one. I couldn't be happier or more excited."
