Despite being one of his generation's greatest players, Ronaldo Nazario's lavish party lifestyle meant he caused more harm than good at Real Madrid, according to former manager Fabio Capello.
Ronaldo and Capello worked together at Los Blancos between 2006 and 2007, but their relationship was seemingly strained by the Brazil legend's behaviour away from the pitch.
"The greatest talent I trained is Ronaldo, the 'Gordo' [loosely translates to the 'fat one'], so that we understand each other," Capello told Sky Sports, distinguishing the Brazil legend from his namesake Cristiano Ronaldo.
"But, at the same time, he was the player who created the most problems for me in the dressing room.

"He used to throw parties and do everything. Once [Ruud] Van Nistelrooy said to me, 'Coach, the dressing room smells like alcohol'.
"Then Ronaldo went to Milan and we started to win, but if we're talking about talent then he was the greatest, without a doubt."
