Lewandowski's preferred club revealed?

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly interested in joining one club after announcing his desire to leave the Bundesliga champions.

The Polish striker recently announced that his time at the Allianz Arena has come to an end, although he still has one year left on his contract.

"My story with Bayern has come to an end, I cannot imagine further good co-operation," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 33-year-old striker in recent months, but football journalist Fabrizio Romano claims he only wants to join FC Barcelona.

Romano did reveal that while Barca have an agreement with Lewandowski, they still need to find one with the Bavarians who have been quite clear in their stance of not letting him go.

Bayern CEO Oliver Khan was also not happy with Lewandowski's recent comments about leaving.

"I can't tell you why Robert chose this way to communicate his situation," Khan said, as per the Mirror.

"Public statements like that don't get you anywhere. Robert should know what he has at Bayern. Appreciation is not a one-way street."
