Highly-rated Real Madrid midfielder Martin Ødegaard has reportedly handed in a transfer request due to a lack of game time under boss Zinedine Zidane.
Ødegaard (22) has managed just 367 minutes across nine appearances for Los Blancos this season after being recalled at the start of the campaign from a successful loan spell at LaLiga rivals Real Sociedad.
Spanish publication Marca report that the promising Norway international has now grown frustrated at his limited role at the Santiago Bernabeu and has requested a move away from the club.
The 2019 Norwegian Footballer of the Year is said to have requested another loan move, although club chief Florentino Perez may decide to offload him on a permanent deal in order to cut costs and raise funds.

However, Zidane is reportedly keen to hold on to the former Strømsgodset starlet as a cover option, despite frequently overlooking the midfielder even when the club's fortunes on the pitch have demanded change.
Ødegaard announced himself as one of the most creative players in LaLiga during his spell with Real Sociedad and was expected to thrive in Madrid after being recalled by the Frenchman ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
He was previously linked with a move to reigning Premier League giants Liverpool, while Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in securing his signature.
