Barca star 'ready' to join Chelsea

FC Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele is reportedly ready to leave the Camp Nou and secure a move to the Premier League.

The Frenchman's future remains up in the air at the Camp Nou as his contract expires at the end of June.

There has been no indication that Dembele will extend his stay with the Catalans, but he has been linked with a number of other clubs in recent months.

The Sun have now reported that the 25-year-old is now ready to join the Blues next season to bolster the attack, with Romelu Lukaku said to return to Inter Milan.

Coach Thomas Tuchel wants to reunite with Dembele, who he coached during his time at Borussia Dortmund before the player went on to join the Spanish giants.

The report did add that the French forward wants assurances from Tuchel that he will be a starter and not included in a strict rotation policy.

A few days ago, Barcelona president Joan Laporta did confirm that the club did make an offer for the 2018 World Cup winner.

“Dembele has an offer on the table from us, but he hasn’t accepted it," Laporta said, as per Sport.

“We don’t have a response from him.”
