Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard is reportedly set to leave the club on this month after agreeing a move to Arsenal.
The Norwegian midfielder has only started three matches in LaLiga this season since being recalled from his loan spell at Real Sociedad.
After reportedly requesting to leave, Spanish publication El Confidencial have reported that 22-year-old has agreed to a loan move to North London.
Odegaard was also linked with a return to Sociedad in recent days, but manager Imanol Alguacil says that was never an option.
“I don’t think that was an option at any time,” he said at his press conference, as per Goal.
“Clearly, with everything that he showed [here], what a good player he is, the team would grow even more, but at no time has there been any possibility that he would return here.”
