Report: Barca willing to offload 8 players

With the current season nearing its conclusion, FC Barcelona have reportedly identified eight players they want to offload in the next transfer window.

The club bolstered their squad quite significantly in the January transfer window after signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ferran Torres, Dani Alves and Adama Traore (loan).

However, Xavi has often spoken about improving the squad ahead of the new season but with the club still struggling financially, they will need to offload players before bringing in new faces.

Spanish outlet AS reported this month that the Catalan giants are willing to let eight first-team players leave at the end of the current season.

Neto, Sergi Roberto, Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti, Oscar Mingueza, Riqui Puig, Martin Braithwaite and Luuk de Jong have all been on the fringes this season but could be offload to make way for new signings.

The report also adds that Memphis Depay, who only joined this season, also features on the list although it also depends if the club have long-term plans for the Dutch winger.

Depay has registered 11 goals in 25 appearances for the Catalan outfit this campaign.
