Real latest signing confirmed?

Real Madrid have already splashed out €255 million on new signings for the 2019/20 season and France head coach Didier Deschamps has now appeared to have confirmed their latest addition.

Real have embarked on their latest Galactico project for next season after a dismal campaign which saw them end the season without a trophy and sack two managers - before Zinedine Zidane returned.

And with playmakers Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen and wing-back Ferland Mendy all linked with moves to the Santiago Bernabeu, Deschamps has seemingly confirmed the transfer of the latter.
"Two years ago he was playing in the second division, now he is on the verge of joining Real Madrid," Deschamps said in the pre-match press conference before the Adorra game, as per Marca.
"He has come on leaps and bounds, and he can play on both sides."
Mendy played 44 games for Lyon in the 2018/19 season, scoring three goals and registering three assists from left-back.
