Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has reportedly closed to the door on a possible return to LaLiga giants FC Barcelona.
The Brazil forward has been linked with a return to the Camp Nou on a perennial basis since his €222 million (R4.1 billion) move to France in 2017, but is now said to have put the idea to bed once and for all.
Per Spanish publication Diario AS h/t Footmercato, Neymar is no longer entertaining the idea of rejoining Barca as a result of the Catalan giants' worsening economic position and perceived lack of sporting direction shown by the club's hierarchy.
Instead, it is claimed the 28-year-old is now focused on PSG's project to try to win the UEFA Champions League, and has instigated talks over renewing his contract with the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
