Granada 0-1 Sevilla
Sevilla maintained their 100 percent record to the new season after edging newly promoted side Granada 1-0 on Friday evening at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.
Joan Jordan scored the decisive goal for the visitors seven minutes after the break to clinch all the three points.
Sevilla moved temporarily to the top of the table with six points while Granda were left lying in 12th place, with one point after two matches.
Granada will next travel to Espanyol next week Sunday in the evening, as their search for the first victory of the season continues, while Sevilla will host Celta Vigo in their upcoming league action next Friday evening looking to extend their perfect start to the campaign.
Levante 2-1 Villarreal
Roger Marti scored two penalty goals in the second stanza as Levante came from behind to clinch a 2-1 victory over Villarreal on Friday evening.
Gerard Moreno grabbed the lead for Villarreal in the third minute and it took the hosts up to the 68th minute to level matters, as Roger Marti scored from the penalty spot before Marti made it 2-1 for Levante in the 73rd minute, converting another penalty to complete his brace and ultimately clinched the three points for the hosts.
Levante collected their first points and victory of the campaign and moved to ninth on the table with three points while Villarreal were left winless with only a point, lying in 12th place on the log.
Levante will host Real Valladolid in their upcoming fixture next week Saturday in the evening, while Villarreal will host Real Madrid next week on Sunday night.
