Juve 'agree' €80m deal for Barca star

Juventus have reportedly agreed to pay €80 million to sign FC Barcelona midfielder Arthur, who could now be set to become only the 13th player to play with both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Tuesday evening, news broke that the Bianconeri had reportedly agreed to break the bank in order to sign the Brazil international from Barca, although personal terms with the player had not yet been ironed out.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici confirmed that negotiations between the two clubs were underway and that no deadline had been set for an agreement to be reached between all of the parties involved.

"We have spoken frequently with Barcelona but we are currently focused on the important games," Paratici said.

"It's not about 30 June, before or after, but about finding an agreement between the various parties, and both players have to be convinced. Therefore, it's not an issue about dates."
