The latest wonderkid from Portugal dubbed the 'next Ronaldo' has been tipped to light up LaLiga when he officially arrives at FC Barcelona.
Trincao, 20, was snapped up by Barcelona in January in a €31 million (R584m) transfer but remained at Braga for the remainder of the season on loan.
The Spanish giants beat of competition from Europe's elite for his signature, with his early performances in the Primeira Liga earning him the tag, the 'next Cristiano Ronaldo'.
And with La Masia product Abel Ruiz now on loan at Braga, he's provided a glowing review on the highly-rated forward that's starred for Portugal at youth level.
"He has a lot of personality," Ruiz told Mundo Deportivo. "He's a very good player and I'm sure he'll do well at Barca.
"He has so much quality. He can go wide on either side, right or left. He has a good shot, he's very complete."
Despite the comparisons to Ronaldo, Ruiz has likened his ability as a left-footed player to that after his future captain Lionel Messi rather than his national team icon.
"I'd say he's similar to Messi, but you can't compare anyone to Leo. He's your typical left-footer with good dribbling – he's skilful.
"If he plays on the right, he comes inside and hits a fierce shot. On the left, he beats players and sets up a lot of goals.
"He's more than ready. He's perfectly capable of playing there and he'll do very well. We don't know how the squad will be made up next season but obviously he'll have competition.
"Great teams have great players in all positions and he'll have to win himself a place, just like anywhere else."
Since making his professional debut in December 2018, Trincao has scored seven goals and registered nine assists in 38 games in all competitions.
