The next move of France superstar Antoine Griezmann has seemingly been revealed after links with Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain since declaring his intention to leave Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann, 28, announced at the end of the 2018/19 season that he will leave Diego Simeone's side after five years at the LaLiga club.
Having won the Spanish Super Cup and the Europa League during his time at Los Rojiblancos, the club's inability to challenge for the league title and UEFA Champions League has left the Frenchman seeking a transfer in the peak of his career.
Barca were immediately touted as the favourites to land his signature, but PSG and United were also reported the have made enquiries of his services.
The player himself kept his fans guessing earlier this week in an interview with Marca: "There's a need for patience, as it's still soon.
Griezmann is amongst the top 10 highest paid footballers in the world according to Forbes as seen in the gallery below:
"I want my future to be decided more than anyone, but there's a need to wait. I don't know if I'll remain in Spain. Maybe in two weeks we'll know something - I just want to play football and have fun."
Now, Atleti Chief Executive Officer Gil Marin, has appeared to end all speculation around his next move.
"I am very certain where Antoine will play, we have known since March," the director explained to Movistar Plus' Toros. "It is in Barcelona."
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has scored 133 goals and registered 50 assists in 257 games since making a €30 million switch from Real Sociedad in 2014.
