Bayern cruise past Barca in UCL

UEFA Champions League

Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich

Robert Lewandowski netted a brace as Bayern Munich breezed past Barcelona 3-0 at the Camp Nou.

Thomas Muller gave the visiting Bavarians the lead before Lewandowski added goals in the 56th and 85th minutes as Barca failed to register a single shot on target in the whole match.

Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 Benfica

Dynamo Kyiv and Benfica could not be separated after playing to a 0-0 draw in Ukraine.

Benfica had over 70% of the possession but could not convert their dominance in to goals.

Chelsea 1-0 Zenit St Petersburg

Romelu Lukaku came to the rescue for Chelsea with a 69th-minute winner to seal a hard-fought 1-0 win over Zenit St Petersburg.

The Blues found it hard to break down the visitors for the majority of the game but Lukaku found a way through when he glanced Cesar Azpilicueta's cross in at the far post.

Malmo 0-3 Juventus

Juventus started their Cristiano Ronaldo-less era in the Champions League with a convincing 3-0 victory over Swedish outfit Malmo FC.

The Old Lady ran riot in the first half, scoring all their goals in that period through Alex Sandro and two quickfire strikes on the stroke of half-time from Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata from the penalty spot to join Chelsea on three points in Group H.

Lille 0-0 Wolfsburg

Lille played to a 0-0 draw with Wolfsburg, who had defender John Brooks sent off.

Lille had 17 shots to Wolves' two, with the Germans having to soak up a lot of pressure after Brooks' dismissal in the 63rd minute.

Villarreal 2-2 Atalanta

Villarreal and Atalanta contested a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Remo Freuler gave the Italians the lead in the sixth minute but Manu Trigueros equalised five minutes before half-time.

Arnaut Danjuma netted for the Spaniards in the 73rd minute but Germany international Robin Gosens claimed a share of the spoils for Atalanta with an 83rd-minute leveller.
