FC Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has commented on the arrest of former club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
Bartomeu was one of four individuals who was arrested on Monday in connection with an ongoing investigation into the "Barcagate" scandal which rocked the Catalan giants last year.
The former Barca chief is accused of orchestrating a social media smear campaign against a host of his high-profile detractors, including club captain Lionel Messi and vice-captain Gerard Pique.
Barcelona's offices were also raided by Spanish authorities as part of the investigation and Koeman, who was appointed just two months before Bartomeu's resignation, has now commented on the new developments.
"For the image of the club, what happened with Bartomeu is not good," the Dutchman said ahead of his side's Copa Del Rey match against Sevilla, per Sport.
"We have to wait and see what happens. We have to concentrate on trying to overcome tomorrow. We cannot do more but we know that what has happened is not good for the image of the club."
