Norway wonderkid Erling Haaland kicked off January in emphatic fashion as he snubbed Manchester United for Borussia Dortmund in a cut-price €20 million deal from Red Bull Salzburg.

Despite being recognised as one of the brightest attacking talents of his generation, the Bundesliga side activated his release clause with the Austrian champions.

Juventus also dipped into the market to secure another wonderkid that caught the attention of clubs around Europe but opted to loan him out immediately.

Dejan Kulusevski, 19, signed for the Bianconeri in a deal worth a reported €35m from Atalanta, but he's set to continue his season-long loan with domestic rivals Parma.

Veteran strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Mandzukic also found new homes after leaving on free transfers from LA Galaxy and Juventus respectively.
