The CIES algorithm takes into account player performance for club and country, age, position and the 'economic level' of his club and those who could potentially buy them.
It comes as no surprise to see the Premier League dominate the list with five players, which includes African superstars Mohamed Salah (€175.1m) and Sadio Mane (€155.6m).
Record-six time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi (€125.5m) remains in the top 10 but has slipped down the order, as Manchester United's Marcus Rashford (€134.3m) moved ahead of the FC Barcelona captain.
Messi's teammate Antoine Griezmann also made the cut, while Argentina and Inter forward Lautaro Martinez (€115.7m) makes his first entry into the top 10.
The advancing age of Cristiano Ronaldo, who turns 35 next month has seen his market value significantly drop to €80.3m and outside the top 40 despite his impressive form with Juventus of late.
