After a back-in-form Gareth Bale revealed a new signature move, here is a look at 10 of football's most iconic goal celebrations.
Bale continued his impressive return to form over the weekend when he netted a brace in Tottenham Hotspurs' 4-0 win over Burnley, meaning he has now scored four goals in his last four appearances across all competitions.
The Wales superstar celebrated his effort by signalling the letters 'WM' with his hands, which has since been revealed to be "Welsh Mafia" in reference to his on-field partnership with countryman and teammate Ben Davies.
It has also been claimed that an inversion of the celebration to 'MW' could also be the inspiration behind the gesture as a form of recognition towards the charitable work done by the Make a Wish Foundation.
Nonetheless, the 31-year-old's latest celebration came as a twist from his now-famous "heart gesture" which has become so synonymous with Bale over the years that he reportedly trademarked it so that it could be used to endorse his merchandise.
