Reading progressed to the fourth round after a relatively comfortable 2-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
The visitors grabbed the lead through Lucas Boye before Jordan Obita netted the second late in the game for a safe passage.
Coventry 3-0 Bristol Rovers
Coventry City also advanced to the fourth round following a 3-0 win over Bristol City in their third round replay at home.
The goals came through a double from Maxime Biamou either side of the half while Josh Park added to the triumph in the second half.
