Jurgen Klopp has reportedly told transfer chief Michael Edwards that he needs three players to lead Liverpool to a Premier League title charge in the 2021/22 season.
Fichajes have reported that the Reds boss wants Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, Lille's Renato Sanches and Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.
Klopp reportedly believes that the trio would give Liverpool the squad depth to compete for the domestic treble while also competing for UEFA Championship League glory in midweek.
The Merseyside outfit is yet to replace midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum after his departure to Paris Saint-Germain, and other reports suggest that the club might be ready to cut their losses on Naby Keita following the Guinean's struggles with injuries.
It is claimed that Leicester's price tag for Tielemans is expected to be a big one, but Brendan Rodgers' side could reportedly also be tempted by a player-plus-cash deal.
Lille, meanwhile, are understood to be in financial trouble, and it is rumoured that Portugal midfielder Sanches may be available for as little as £21 million (R415 million).
Liverpool are also said to be ready to sell Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi to fund a deal for Bayern star Coman, with some reports claiming that the French winger would cost as much £86 million (R1.7 billion).
This valuation could change, though, if the 25-year-old decides to not renew his contract, which is currently scheduled to end in 2023.
