Man Utd's transfer shortlist revealed?

With the January transfer window just a few days away, Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has reportedly drawn up a list of four players he would like to sign.

The Red Devils currently sit eight points behind the top four heading into their Monday night fixture against Newcastle United, although they have played three games less.

Rangnick is looking to put his own stamp on the current squad and has identified a few players he believes could make an impact.

Various reports in Germany claim that United are in pole position to sign Bayer Leverkusen rising star Florian Wirtz, who is the youngest player to to feature in a Bundesliga clash.

The Sun have reported that any potential transfer fee for the 19-year-old would be around £60million as he is still contracted to Leverkusen until 2026.

The English publication added that the four-man list is dominated by Bundesliga players, which includes Borussia Monchengladbach full-back Luca Netz, RB Leipzig midfielder Eric Martel and VfL Bochum central defender Armel Bella-Kotchap.
