EPL giants join race for Mbappe

English Premier League

With Kylian Mbappe's future at Paris Saint-Germain still unclear, one Premier League side has now reportedly entered the race for his signature.

The Frenchman is in the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 giants and he is unlikely to sign an extension, as per reports in Europe this week.

Real Madrid have long been a rumoured destination for the 22-year-old, as the Spaniards see the striker as a marquee signing once the Santiago Bernabeu re-opens next year.

However, ESPN have now reported that Manchester United are also expected to try and make a move for the 2018 World Cup winner next year if he becomes a free agent.

The Red Devils expect Edinson Cavani to leave the club after the current season due to his age, and they are looking at Mbappe as a potential replacement.

The report added that Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez and Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane are also said to be on United's wish-list.
