Blues coach makes Lukaku decision

English Premier League

Chelsea have reportedly made the decision on Romelu Lukaku after his explosive interview this week.

A Sky Italy interview was released on Thursday, with the Belgian striker detailing his unhappiness with the club and his desire to return to Inter Milan.

Sky Sports News have now reported that manager Thomas Tuchel has decided to drop the 28-year-old striker ahead of Sunday night's crucial game against the Reds.

The decision is a big blow for the defending European champions as Lukaku played a big role in the win over Aston Villa while he was also on target in the 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Blues will also be without Ben Chilwell and Reece James through injury, while it remains to be seen if Thiago Silva has recovered in time to make the squad.
