LaLiga giants FC Barcelona are reportedly considering a shock swoop for England and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.
Following a disappointing domestic campaign, in which Barca were beaten to the LaLiga title by Atletico Madrid, the Blaugrana are said to be raising funds to complete a big-name signing in order to bolster their squad.
According to Spanish publication Sport, Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has been identified as the ideal reinforcement, and the club sees him as a potential replacement for Ousmane Dembele, whose future at the Camp Nou remains in doubt.
The Frenchman is yet to renew his deal with the Catalan giants, which has reportedly forced the club to consider offloading him ahead of next season, with the plan being to use the funds raised to help finance a deal for Sterling.
Barca's reported interest in the England star comes just days after Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia were signed on free transfers from City, while Ronald Koeman's side has also been linked with a move for Fernandinho, Gabriel Jesus & Ilkay Gundogan.
