Manchester City superstar Raheem Sterling revealed what manager Pep Guardiola told him after the FA Cup final after they appeared to have a heated engagement despite scoring a brace in the 6-0 thumping over Watford.
City eased to victory over the Hornets at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon to secure a historic first domestic treble in English football history.
Sterling produced yet another magical display for the Citizens but was notably pulled aside by his manager at the full-time whistle as cameras caught the England winger with a rather bemused expression.
The 24-year-old cleared their air on social media after the game that he was being reprimanded by Guardiola for trying to nip teammate Gabriel Jesus' goal in the first-half.
"He just said I shouldn't have tried to steal that first goal," Sterling wrote on his official Twitter account.
Sterling who's been tipped to captain England this month netted 25 goals and registered 18 assists in 51 games during the 2018/19 season.
