Premier League fixture list confirmed

English Premier League

The fixture list for the opening week of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign has been confirmed.

Champions Liverpool will begin their title defence at home to newly promoted Leeds United on Saturday, 12 September, while fellow Merseysiders Everton will travel to London to face Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur side.

Two days later, Chelsea will travel to Brighton & Hove Albion, while last season's high-flyers Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers will clash in the day's other tie.

Manchester United and Manchester City will start the campaign a week later than the rest of the league after their matches against Burnley and Aston Villa, respectively, were postponed.
