Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes VAR will benefit the Premier League but only if mistakes are avoided.
The Premier League champions romped to a 5-0 victory at West Ham on Saturday but it could have been more.
Raheem Sterling was adjudged after VAR consultation to be offside when setting up Gabriel Jesus, but many felt the decision should only have been overturned if it was 'clear and obvious' - which it was not.
Sterling appeared to be in line with the last defender and Guardiola wasn't happy with the decision.
"My only wish is that VAR does not make mistakes," said the Spanish tactician.
"Please. If it is offside, it is offside. If it is hand, it is hand.
"Rules and rules. No problem. That is OK. My only concern is when VAR makes mistakes. But I think this will be more fair."
