Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has delivered his verdict as to who he believes is the Premier League's best player on current form, and the answer might surprise you.
The Citizens recorded a 2-1 win over Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa on Wednesday night to give the Spanish coach his 150th EPL win as City manager, with Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva providing the goals.

This result etched Guardiola's name into the history books once again as he became the fastest head coach to reach 150 victories in England's top flight – he achieved this feat in just 204 matches – beating several legendary managers to the record, including Arsene Wenger, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho, according to the Daily Mirror.
Following the landmark win, the tactician proceeded to name one of his stars as the best player in the Premier League based on current form.
"The best," Guardiola answered during a post-match press conference when asked if he thought the Portuguese playmaker is among the best players in England based on his latest displays.
"When we made 98 points two or three years ago, he was the best, too.
"Take the videos and you will see.
"It [Silva's goal against Villa] was an incredible finish.
"The goal was good, it was quick. To beat them was an incredible step for us."
The 50-year-old also gave his thoughts on his milestone win with the EPL giants.
"Quite proud, we won some games, it is not bad," he added.
"It is good news. 150 victories is a lot in the Premier League and we did it in a short time.
"Big compliment for the whole club, and more to come."
