AFC Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech has agreed to join Premier League side Chelsea as manager Frank Lampard's first signing.
The transfer window may have closed a few weeks ago, but the Blues are already planning ahead for the 2020/21 season.
Ajax and Chelsea have both confirmed the transfer fee has been agreed and Ziyech ahead of an expected move in July.
"Chelsea Football Club has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer," read the statement on the club's website.
"The move is subject to the player agreeing personal terms and he will remain at the Dutch club for the rest of this season."
The 27-year-old has scored 48 goals and registered 82 assists in 160 games for the Eredivisie giants since his arrival from FC Twente in 2016.
