'I wouldn't swap Kane for Lukaku'

English Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo has explained why he would never entertain the idea of swapping Harry Kane for Romelu Lukaku.

Spurs will renew their rivalry with the Blues on Sunday evening, as the in-form Lukaku looks maintain his scoring run at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Belgian has scored three times in the Blues' opening four Premier League encounters as well as this week's UEFA Champions League opener against Zenit St Petersburg.

Santo was asked he would consider swapping Kane for the Chelsea star ahead of Sunday evening's London derby.

"I don’t even consider that option because it’s something that I don’t think about - for me, it doesn’t make sense. Harry is an amazing player," the Spurs manager said, as per Goal.

"I have been impressed with his quality and talent.

"I think he still can improve. We are in that process of trying to find the best levels of fitness. But his dedication has been huge."
