Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has been urged to leave the club and the Premier League in favour of a move to Barcelona.
Former Nigeria international Jay-Jay Okocha has claimed that Salah needs to leave the reigning English champions in order to progress in his career and that Barca would be the ideal destination for the Egyptian forward.
Salah, a two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, is once again leading the competition's scoring charts but his efforts have not been enough to prevent the club from suffering a disappointing title defence.
The Reds currently occupy sixth spot in the league standings and are 19 points behind leaders and rivals Manchester City, with their position not aided by the club's run of four consecutive defeats.

As a result, Okocha is of the view that star-man Salah should consider his options and that a move to LaLiga giants Barcelona, who were linked with the 28-year-old last season, should be entertained if it becomes possible.
"If there is a chance to join Barcelona, I advise Salah to go there. His energy has run out with Liverpool," the former Bolton Wanderers star told OnTime Sports h/t Kingfut.
"The situation is now regressing in Liverpool, and Salah must leave the Premier League. If there is any chance to join Barcelona, I advise him to go there."
