English Premier League

With the January transfer window starting to heat up in its final days, here are some potential ins and outs that could take place at Manchester United before deadline day!

The Red Devils have already parted ways with four players this month, with Teden Mengi, Ethan Laird, Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Martial having all secured loan moves.

The latest reports suggest, however, that there may be more exits from Old Trafford by the 31 January deadline, with centre-back Eric Bailly emerging as a target for AC Milan.

Per Foot Mercato, the Ivory Coast international has been identified as someone who could bolster the Serie A side's defence for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign.

Jesse Lingard, meanwhile, is growing increasingly frustrated with the United hierarchy after his loan move to Newcastle United seemingly collapsed on Tuesday, according to The Athletic

Another star who seems set to depart Old Trafford is midfielder Donny van de Beek, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano having claimed that Crystal Palace are leading the race for his signature after they submitted a loan proposal to the Manchester club on Tuesday night.

While three more players could leave the Theatre of Dreams in the coming days, Ralf Rangnick is also believed to be eyeing two potential incomings.

The Premier League giants are monitoring Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Palhinha, who has "one foot out" of the Portuguese club's door, according to Record.

A move could be on the cards after his club reportedly decreased his price tag from €40 million (R684 million) to €30 million (R513 million).

The Red Devils' pursuit of Olympique Marseille's Boubacar Kamara has continued too, with United now reportedly the favourites to land the midfielder's signature, although Leeds United and Serie A side remain in the race.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is currently available for a cut-price as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
