Manchester United have suffered an injury scare after forward Alexis Sanchez sustained a hamstring injury while on Copa America duty with Chile.
Sanchez limped off 17 minutes in to Chile's third-place play-off against Argentina after pulling up while chasing a ball.
United are awaiting the results of scans to be conducted on the 30-year-old, who has failed to live up to his billing at Old Trafford since joining the club from Arsenal in January 2018.
The 30-year-old enjoyed a fairly good campaign after registering two goals and one assists during the campaign as Chile finished the tournament in fourth.
Sanchez, who is reportedly the club's highest-paid player, has been linked with an exit in recent months.
United get their Premier League season underway with a mouthwatering clash against Chelsea on August 11.
