English Premier League

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero was involved in a horrific car crash with his Lamborghini on his way to the club's training ground this morning.

Romero, 32, has served as a back-up for David de Gea since arriving at United in 2015 under the management of Louis van Gaal.

Known as a reliable understudy and a key figure for the Argentina national team with 96 senior caps, the shot-stopper made headlines in the United Kingdom this morning.
