Pogba 'stripped' of penalty duties

English Premier League

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stripped midfielder Paul Pogba of penalty duties, according to reports in England.

Pogba missed a crucial penalty on Monday evening in their Premier League fixture against Wolves, which could have secured United all three points at the Molineux.

The Frenchman and forward Marcus Rashford was pictured debating over who should take the spotkick before he missed his fourth penalty out of the last nine attempts.

After the game, The Red Devils boss played down the incident between Rashford and the 2018 World Cup winner but is said to have 'torn' into the duo in the dressing room.

According to SunSport, Solskjaer was left 'embarrassed' by the episode and blasted the pair for failing to decide who was on duty and has now made the decision on their behalf.
The English publication states Pogba has been stripped of the role and Rashford, who holds a 100% record is now the club's official penalty taker.
