UEFA Champions League holders Liverpool are reportedly considering a £67 million (R1.2 billion) move for a Real Madrid star.
As per Spanish media publication El Desmarque, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly expressed an interest in two-time UCL winner Marco Asensio.
According to the report, Klopp has reportedly sanctioned a move for the former Real Mallorca star, and is willing to spend £67 million on the Spain international.
While Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is not keen on losing Asensio's services, the Frenchman may entertain the idea of a swap deal, with Senegal superstar Sadio Mane heading to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Since joining Real from Mallorca in 2015, the 23-year-old has amassed 135 appearances for Zidane's side, finding the back of the net on 27 occasions and registering a further 17 assists.
