Sadio Mane brought his 2019/20 Premier League campaign to an end in typical fashion over the weekend, and the Liverpool star's latest strike saw him draw level with Cristiano Ronaldo in the EPL's all-time top goalscorers list.
On Sunday evening, Mane featured from the substitutes' bench as the newly-crowned champions brought their 2019/20 league season to an end with a 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old, who shared the 2018/19 EPL Golden Boot award with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and teammate Mohamed Salah, brought the campaign to a close with a curling effort from range that took his tally to 18 for the season.
Mane's strike was also his 84th goal overall in the competition across spells with Southampton and Liverpool, and saw him equal the figure attained by former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo in two fewer matches.
The Senegal international reached the figure in his 194th Premier League appearance since debuting in 2014, while Ronaldo achieved the same number of goals in 196 games between 2003 and 2009.
