'Grealish was waiting for Romeu in the tunnel'

It has been revealed that Manchester City star Jack Grealish was waiting for Southampton's Oriol Romeu in the tunnel after the encounter on Saturday.

The Citizens' 12-game winning run in the Premier League was halted at St Mary's after Aymeric Laporte cancelled out Kyle Walker-Peter's impressive first strike on Saturday evening.

There was incident in the first half that Grealish unhappy after a challenge from the Southampton midfielder although there was no caution.

Grealish was unhappy with something Romeu said and proceeded to shove him before both players were separated by their respective teammates.

Saints manager Ralf Hasenhuttl has revealed the Man City star did wait for the Spaniard in the tunnel, but there was no malice between the pair

"Grealish was waiting for him in the tunnel because of a few things that happened outsoide on the pitch,’ said Hasenhuttl.

"But it’s not here for the cameras, they spoke about it, everything’s good."
