4 managers who've 'rejected' Man Utd

English Premier League

It has been reported that four top bosses have already rejected the Manchester United job.

Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer received his marching orders on Sunday, the Premier League giants have been linked with at least eight head coaches.

Many of the names reported include managers who are currently in a job, such as Ajax Amsterdam's Erik ten Hag, Paris Saint-Germain's Mauricio Pochettino and Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers.

That immediate non-availability has seemingly proved to be a stumbling block for the Red Devils, with four managers said to have already rejected the job in Manchester.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spain boss Luis Enrique will not be involved in any talks with the EPL side as he prepares for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup, while Sevilla's Julen Lopetegui has also seemingly ruled himself out of the running, saying: "It seems absurd to me."

Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, meanwhile, is believed to have no interest in going to Old Trafford, with recent reports stating the French manager only wants a move to PSG or the France national team job.

Foxes boss Rodgers also rubbished claims that he will be United's next manager, reassuring his team's fans that he is committed to the club during a pre-match press conference ahead of Leicester's UEFA Europa League clash against Legia Warsaw on Thursday night.
