5 Utd stars left 'unhappy' by Solskjaer

English Premier League

Following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Everton at Old Trafford, five players are reportedly unhappy with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, including Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Saturday, United failed to secure the three points against the Toffees despite taking the lead through Anthony Martial's emphatic strike just before half-time, with Everton equalising 20 minutes after the restart through Andros Townsend.

The Red Devils' current top goalscorer across all competitions this season, Ronaldo, started the game from the bench despite scoring the late winner in United's previous match, against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday.

According to The Daily Telegraph, this snub has irked the Portuguese superstar, while another four of the club's stars were said to be unhappy with some of the Norwegian tactician's decisions for the game against Everton.

It is claimed that United's two other substitutes in that match, Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho, were displeased with the manager too, with the latter reportedly annoyed about not being played in his preferred right-wing position.

Goalkeeper David de Gea is also said to be among the unhappy lot, and reportedly expressed his frustrations with his teammates after the full-time whistle on Saturday.

Meanwhile, midfielder Donny van de Beek's disappointment at Old Trafford continues as, following his visible act of frustration against Villarreal last week, he once again played no part in his side's encounter against the Toffees.
