In a unique approach to transfer announcements, Ligue 1 side OGC Nice have confirmed the signing of a former Manchester United star via Zoom.
Amid the ongoing challenges posed by the coronavirus, professionals around the world have had to adopt new means of communication, with video communications application Zoom becoming a popular choice.
Ligue 1 club Nice have seen a creative opportunity behind the surge of interest in Zoom, and used the app to announce their signing of former United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin from Everton across their social media platforms.
The 30-year-old joins the French outfit, who are managed by former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira, for an undisclosed fee after spending three-and-a-half years with the Toffees, for whom he made 88 appearances across all competitions.
Schneiderlin's move sees him leave English football for the first time in 12 years, having previously spent seven seasons with Southampton and a further 18 months with the Red Devils.
