Aston Villa 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur pushed closer to the top-four in the English Premier League with a 3-2 win over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

Villa battling at the other end of the table, were ahead through an own-goal from Toby Alderweireld but the Spurs defender made up for his error and levelled matters later in the half.

Heung Min-Son had Spurs ahead before halftime though Bjorn Engels levelled early in the second period before Spurs netted his right at the death through Son's second of the game.

Serie A
Juventus 2-0 Brescia

Juventus leaped to the summit of the Serie A table with a 2-0 win over Brescia at the Juventus Arena.

The opener arrived from Argentine Paulo Dybala late in the first half with a superb free-kick, whilst Brescia had Florian Aye dismissed in the 37th minute.

Juan Cuadrado made the points safe in the second half as the defending champions returned to the top.
